after having mIRC on for a few days, and the text is a few pages long (max buffer of 5000 but also with less) your screen is scrolled all the way down like normal. the body of the scrollbar is very small in size because of the long history... you would think :-] but when I scroll up, I do not scroll a page at a time (PGUP/PGDN) but just a few lines and sometimes even get set back lines when I use PGUP or just scroll up with my mouse.

if I pick up the body of the scrollbar en scroll all the way up, the body return to its correct size (like 10x bigger) and scrolling returns to normal...

I would guess this to be a windows bug but I was wondering if I'm the only one who has this :-]

Which version of mIRC are you using? Which version of Windows?

mIRC 6.03
Windows 2000 Prof SP3
Custom haltdef script theme (home made)
window buffer set at 5000

# of lines in window having this problem before scrolling: 185 ($line(#,0))
still the same after scrolling but scrollbar looks much smaller

weird thing is that it doesn't happen to all windows, have windows with more text and no problems at all. some windows when you scroll up the text is suddenly clipped (first line starts somewhere in the middle) but has much less lines then other windows...

if further info is needed >> check profile and join my channel

I've experienced that problem once/twice as well, mIRC 6.03, WinXP Home SP1
