Since the addition of properties for $os, an alias beginning with OS. will no longer work. Is there something that can be done about this?

Note: Built-in identifiers of the same name have priority.

Quote from the "Custom Identifiers" section of the mirc.chm help file.

You have to rename the alias.

Thanks for the links. I guess I was hoping that there was a way to maintain backward compatibility, since it's not just one alias, it's a lot of aliases in a widely distributed script. Maybe if a property doesn't exist for $os, just pass it on to aliases (or something)? It worked before properties were added for $os.

That sounds reasonable. In general, identifiers with properties don't work like this, but I can add an exception to $os to maintain backward compatibility in this case. This change will be in the next version.
