raw 477 suppressed message - 11/08/20 04:45 PM
Reported by someone joining an mirc help channel. At undernet, the raw event 477 message received by trying to join a +r channel without having a username account is like:
<- :LosAngeles.CA.US.Undernet.Org 477 maroon #werewolf :Cannot join channel (+r): this channel requires authentication -- you can obtain an account from http://cservice.undernet.org/live/
In 7.62:
#werewolf unable to join channel (not using registered nick)
It's great that the message now shows the #channelname, but by replacing the actual message, it's making people think they need to register with nickserv, which is not the case.
