Using the latest mIRC, when all logging is turned off via options the status logs are still being logged. You have to turn off the logging by right clicking on every status window and changing it to off. I don't believe this was done by design.

This is by design since status windows do not have a default log on/off setting in the Logging dialog. I may add this in a future version.
