Topic says all, tried on other clients and it works fine, when I message myself cross-client or anyone else does it won't pop a query window and I never get the message, however they see mine. Even if the query window is previously open no messages are recieved. I prefer mIRC over anything but this seems like a serious bug to me, and is kind of annoying especially when searching for scrims.

You haven't ignored incoming private messages from *!*@* by any chance?

I doubt that very much, since your the ONLY one this seems to happen to, the logic would be that its something local to u alone.

Check if alt+o -> Other -> Lock -> Private Chats is ticked. This setting is saved in the registry, so doing a clean install of mIRC wouldn't help you in that case.

ALT + O -> IRC -> Show in Active -> Queries?

That was the problem. And I left this checked because I assumed it was "CHAT", not query. As in the one you connect to.
