Not sure if this a bug or a weird feature but the Script Editor doesn't update. Let me explain.
  • 1. Go to the buttom of your code (doesn't matter which file)
  • 2. And press the up key repeatedly, notice how it updates. (The lines at the bottom right hand corner).

Now do the same again but hold down shift whilst your pressing the up arrow. Notice how it didnt update the line number at the right hand corner? Press up again and it updates.

Is this a bug or a weird feature?

Confirmed (mIRC 6.17, w2k).

I'd say it's a bug. At least, it's inconsistent since shift+down does update the line number.

Yeah, I never checked to see if it does it downwards. But if you go down and then up and go past the first line highlighted it stops again.

Not a bug. Think about it, you are still working with the line it shows. mIRC has always worked this way. If multiple lines are selected it will show the index of the bottom line at the bottom right.

To show this: drag your mouse from the bottom up, it doesn't update. Now drag it from the top down, it does update.
