Type: //echo $color(background) -a hello
Where it is the message?
And selecting the text also does not appear
(Sorry for the bad english, I use the babelfish :P)
Correcting, where is the message?
Not a bug, it just colours the text the color you specified. i.e. background.
At first I thought you were joking but I see now you're referring to the fact that highlighting the text no longer displays the text if the foreground and background colours are the same. Yeah, I would say this is a bug (or maybe a not so well thought out feature) and I think the foreground colour should be the opposite of the background colour if both colours are the same.
It's a bug or atleast an unpleasant new feature. This has been discussed in a prior bug report though
here
In the older versions, it appeared when you selected the text.
And that was an exemple.
And now what? Im receiving "phantom" messages. What do i do? Should i use the old 6.16 version?
Well it's not like you can't do anything about it... just copy the message and paste it in a mirc editbox or in Notepad.
Ill use the old 6.16 version again, its easier
Same problem here, i will use 6.16 too but this could be fixed.. its very annoying copy and paste messages to see
