But a friend of mine found it and i posted it on her behalf.
Type /clear in the channel window and then double lclick the scroll bar, the channel central appears without * Retrieving # modes... appearing, it also works in status where the lusers appears and queries where the whois appears.

Not confirmed, my mIRC 6.16 work as well:

* Retrieving #channel modes...

Yes, true. Happens on mIRC 6.16 too. But this is not a big problem, there are other things khaled has to make/fix/improve (if he will want to release a new mirc version and if he's working at one)...

My mIRC work as well, because if you click first time on the channel scroll bar, mIRC display:
* Retrieving #channel modes...

This appened only first time, because if you click other times, mIRC Display nothing. But this appened also if you don't click on the scrool bar.
