I don't think anyone has reported such a bug before and I haven't experienced it myself, however, I don't believe I've attempted to /list 10,000 channels since 6.16. This command relies a lot upon the server, so try /listing on another network and see if that helps. Different networks can have different methods of relaying the list to the client. Try using /list on DALnet, it's speedier than other networks, and there's easily over 10k channels at all times.
As usual make sure you test this on a FRESH install of the latest version of mIRC and you're only typing /list with no other parameters.

Just enter EFNet and asked for a list. I have 22235 channles listed.
I had problems with mIRC 6.16 and previous versions where I asked for a list, and after a short period I get that the list has exeeded its size, or it is too big.
Ok, I managed to get the problem:
LIST output too large, truncated
End of /List
It happened on efnet. For irc.qeast.net I get this problem (listing stops after less than 7000 channels) , but for irc.inter.net.il which is also a server of EFNET it works like a charm.

The 'List Truncated' error is a server-side error and has nothing to do with mIRC - check out the search feature, a number of threads have mentioned it before

ermmm i ment like when your in a cahnnel with more then 9999 users it wont show up in /list

Correct, /list sends a <10000 request, I thought it always had (it does back on 6.0)? I have never seen a channel larger than 5-6,000, and they are all warez channels anyway. Certainly various stastics on various websites show that no channel ever gets to be that large.

your wrong. I already seen channels over 10,000
someone on xchat told me there are few channels over 10,000 on my home network. Im user of mIRC and I was dissapointed
so I tried a copy of xchat and did list and I was surprised. Im ircop and I need to see them on mIRC instead of crappy xchat.
