mIRC dialogs do not support Unicode/UTF-8 at this time.
I'll also put this in the feature request then
In the mean time the latest DCX revision (not dev build but the latest SVN build) supports utf8 style on all controls to enable utf8 text on every control.
wow, where are the svn builds mate?

but i beleive it may be too much hassle for you right now to even bother with it =)
