i run a health channel and want it to show up when someone types /list health, although the channel does not have the word health in the name
you should e able to specify meta tags like a html file can do for search engines

This has nothing to do with mIRC, /list output is what _server_ sends to you.

All you have to do is ensure that health is somewhere in your topic; LIST will pick it up in the topic or the channel name.

na i tried putting health in the topic, it's not working. is this a server specific option? or something else? cant really test it right now with DALnet down..

Doesn't work on my network so it must be IRCd specific.

you could make another channel with health in the #name and set in the topic to join your other #channel:P
