I use xchat to make SSL connections to several private servers; however I would prefer being able to use the features of mIRC. I have found that it is possible to use an SSL Proxy Client to tunnel mIRC through an SSL connetion. In addition, it is possible to use an SSH client to make secure connections and then tunnel mIRC through it to a server.

Could these features be added to mIRC at some point in the future?
