i know there's countless times i get in an argument about something or another and i have to go scrolling back infinitely many pages to copy/paste a previous discussion to prove my point.. tell me being able to have a bottom to top search routine wouldn't be priceless...

You mean you want something like Ctrl+F ?

Also there's /findtext <text> for the command-line equivalent of Ctrl+F.

i guess it's safe to assume it's been there forever too..
