Hi Khaled I had a cool idea where a command to manipulate the text buffers in use could be used with a set of parameters to do all kinds of stuff with text buffers, everything from simply clearing them to parsing them with existing script commands to do a whole bunch of stuff! Would you consider this?

Can you give an example? There are a lot of commands that do manipulate text in window buffers. Some window types being more restrictive than others, true, but what were you trying to do?
