so I downloaded latest mirc now (7.38)
I use windows 7/SP1 (32bit)

and I'm surprised that nobody complained about this by now:
2 annoyances right on 1st the glance

1. even with custom titlebar, you can't remove mirc's default value
no matter if its status windows or channel window:

2. the text editor, when you minimize it, by default it goes
totally left down on your chat/text box and it totally intrudes there

worst thing is, you can't drag it by clicking titlebar coz its
so small, but you have to "manage" to hit this tiny tiny small
bottom frame spot which is like 2 or 3 pixels to move it

This not an Feature Request but Bug Report!

I cannot see anything requesting here..

These are no bugs though, he's obviously requesting changes in mIRCs design.

1. happens because your status window is maximized and therefore has no own titlebar, rather than just omitting the information mIRC will move it to the main one.

2. is caused by higher DPI scaling. Aero seems to complicate things, blame M$. the compatibility option for visual themes should improve things.

Script Editor (ALT+R) > Options (ALT+O) > Show on Desktop (S)

Personally I prefer the default behavior, given how Windows now groups together multiple windows from the same process in the taskbar -- requiring extra clicking if set to Desktop.
