Prevent system sleep while mIRC is running - 26/08/14 10:03 PM

Long time registered mIRC user, first time forum visitor. =)

I was curious if we could get an option to prevent the system from going to sleep while the mIRC application is running? My current computer is a power hog so I enable aggressive settings for sleep mode, and so every so often the system will go to sleep if I head off briefly to go do something real-life related while I'm in a channel monitoring a discussion. When the computer goes to sleep it of course necessarily loses connection from the server ("software caused connection abort").

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa373208%28v=vs.85%29.aspx is the required API call.

Icing on the cake would be including script commands to enable or disable this option at runtime, but that's getting ahead of myself. ;-)
