I am using the mozilla browser, which I find faster, more secure and allover better then the Internet Explorer.

Now, in mirc V 5.9x there was an option in the options -> irc -> catcher to select a browser.

Now, in 6.0x there is no such option. Therefore, whenever I click urls, Internet Explorer pops up...
The amount af harmful urls on the irc is extreme, so using mozilla is much more secure than using the Internet Explorer.

Why was that option removed... and will it be back?

Distancing myself from the issue of default browser I do have some advice, don't visit websites that are advertised on IRC. With that policy you are 99% protected without lifting a finger.
