This isn't really my idea per se, but it's based on a question someone asked in a scripting channel on QuakeNet.

The ability to turn highlight off or on with something /highlight [off|on] would be nice.

You could possibly add more to it.

Like adding, deleting, etc.

Like a per-window command? Like timestamp and such? (I'm pretty sure they can do that, right?)

If so, I wouldn't mind having that feature.
