in the Address/Control Window under ignore. If a nick is on a timed ignore and you have to reboot mirc. Any nick that was on a timed ignore removal still remains. Is it possible in the next version that the next time mirc connects the ignore sequence will continue or just auto remove that nick on disconnect. Right now if it happens The nick remains in the ignore list even though it was set for a timed ignore. And I have to manually remove it.
remove on disconnect - signed
continue with timer (if possible) - signed
I like both ideas and I feel both can be done easily enough (tho Im not a coder) that both could be implemented. I'm a big fan of putting more options into the address book
with comments about on idle event and $nick().idle using a stored ctime comparison, it would make me think that if someone is ignored it simply checks when a message is recieved if the right ctime has passed, but not working correctly after closure of mirc gets me wondering if that is the casem or if mirc simply hasnt read the info into its memory, someone care to try editing how long it is to ignore for, and if it indeed does remove the ignore after the new stated ignore length, then i would wonder if that has forced mirc to keep the relevant info in memory or simply re-created it as though it never existed.
(sorry i really should learn to type shorter sentences and break it up more)
haveing it make sense helps as well <snicker snicker>
if it doesnt make sence i cant remember what i was on about at 7 or 8am on a monday morning go figure.
I think the /ignore -u feature would be a timerbased command.
it is, but not if mirc closes while the timer is counting down. Once you close or exit mirc, the timer shuts down and the ignore list entry remains
