New Event: TIME - 07/12/05 12:31 AM
It would please me much if we had an remotes event for TIME.
on TIME:<hr>:<min>:
: <commands>
on TIME:12:00:00: /echo It is now noon!
This would be great for scheduling evens like log parsing programs.
Also resetting trivia scrips and stats generators.
Any suggestions?

I believe this has already been suggested before. Can't you use:
/timer 12:00 1 1 echo -a It is noon!

We can't always count on /timer too many things can halt it there's too many events that could manipulate it. Plenty of applications, including Windows, have a time event, yet I am surprised out of the many available for mIRC TIME isnt one of them.

...and in reading those posts it makes me wonder why the event still does not exist.

you gotta agree with mrBucket that thats less likely to happen DaveC but yeah mIRCscripts is opensource and as a result you cant counter every possible way of failure.
EDIT: Maybe thats what you wanted to say
