SSL support for scrips would be great.
I think it would be very usefull, as more and more web pages are
using SSL, and the general need for security is rising.

If you mean SSL support for mIRC, mIRC already supports SSL. -> /help SSL

The SSL support is currently only for connecting to IRC servers.
What I want, is SSL support for my own sockets,
created with the /sockopen and /socklisten commands

Sounds good to me. Proxy support for scripted sockets would also be great.

Yes, I agree. I was about to post a similar suggestion until I saw your post.

I would love to see SSL support for sockets as well as DCC. DCC would require additional config setting for originating and accepting SSL. i.e. reject non-SSL, originate SSL but fall back if the receiver does not support it, etc.

Actually, it would be nice if we had the option to start all server connections with SSL and fall back if it isn't supported. Yes, this could be done with a script, but it seems worthwhile for the options dialog.
