i would like to have the ability to lock a window with password

i cant amagine what you would need that for where you want access to other windows allowed, you can lockdown mirc with a password altogether of course.

I never understood why some programs offer the ability to lock 1 window or 1 tab, especially if the whole program can lock.

Especially these days with Windows 2000 and Windows XP, where you can just press WinKey + L to lock the whole computer when you walk away from it. If it is a multi-user computer, just lock the whole program, you wouldnt want anyone to mess with your nick anyway...

Since I have been going to school, and using a computer there, I have gotten into the habbit of just locking it before going away from it... it isnt that hard to do, and it will be safe as long as no one knows your password.
