I know this option was available in 6.03 and I liked it a lot. It kept everything simple and organized, so that I didn't have to. I wish you would bring it back. Until then I'll have to keep using that version

It's still there .. it was just moved to
mIRC Options (Alt + o) > Options > Perform button
