I know that you can easily set up replies to certian given commands, but that could be a long list. Is there a way to say ctcp my bot with a commands like /mode #channel +o nick and have it just do that?
Making a general "do whatever I say" script is a bad idea. Sure using /mode #chan +o nick isn't a big deal, but what happens if someone does /remove C:\windows\system.ini ? You could have some big problems. Even using a password, if someone gets the password, you're screwed. It is really a very bad idea.
I understand the dangers the user list is limited to me and a friend, whom I know I can trust. its limited to his and my IP.
Maybe so, but a hostname isn't exactly good protection. Many IRC servers have the ability to allow irc ops to "fake" a hostname. Now most IRCOps wouldn't do something like that, but if they wanted to, they can now ruin your PC. If you want to do it, well then all I'm going to say is it can be done, however I won't provide the code to do it. For one I don't know your real intentions, are you going to put this in a script so that you can take over other people's machines? And even if your intentions are perfect, like I said, it's dangerous and I don't want to write code that I know can ruin your PC.
Thank you for atleast replying and I am a ircop on the server, no it wasnt meant for a backdoor, I think I got it tho.
