hmm, i found only Locotusofborg's post which says i need to pay:
"Actually, the shareware concept doesn't care about that. You are allowed to use it for a maximum period of 30 days, then it is either pay up or delete. "
You do need to pay otherwise you are in breach of the licence agreement.
This is why I decided to pressure mIRC Co. for an official response. What they said is what will happen and the official word is "NO Watchdog" which means mIRC will NOT die. That said, you still have to follow the licence agreement.
granted he isnt new and should have used the search feature using the words registration and kept the search to a week and hed have found his answer straight from krejt. anyhow still the name callin thing isnt a good idea ... he may have had a slight oversight in his search or a typo or something ... giving someone the benefit of the doubt would be a better idea
In the short time I've been here I already lost count of how many times he has started a new thread only to continue another one. What do you mean benefit of the doubt ? I'm thinking he's had enough benefit.
You ALWAYS had to pay for mIRC after 30 days - it's in the license agreement you so kindly accepted when you installed the program.
