Mk.. I recently got tired of looking at the ugly fixedsys font, and on my black background, I decided to replace all the normal event text with my own. Now.. with the on input event, if I used ctrl+enter, it would make my output
(:Frog: Bah) show up as <Frog> Bah. I fixed that. Now.. if I have an alias msg the channel with something, it'll mess up like that again. So, I was wondering if there was a way around this.. like an Identifier like $ctrlenter, or something. Or would I have to go and edit all my aliases directly?

Yes. Just make a common alias (msg perhaps  ) that they can all call .. in there, you can do all your reformatting and it'll be in affect everywhere.

Damn. Thought there may have been an Identifier for that. Well! There's one for the suggestion board :x

no, an identifer wouldnt help you at all here, as the on input event is only trigered on input, not on msg send

Hammer is absolutly right about the common alias idea .. no point in placining a feature sugestion for an identifer that couldnt be used anyways as the command wouldnt triger the event. and the reason it doesnt triger the event is because an alias can easily be made to do all u want to do, infact you could put all your code into a msg alias and just have the on input event call your msg alias also :P make sence?
