hey,

ive tryed to colour my timestamp on messages, but i can add the colours in the options dialog, but they only stay effective untill i close mirc and load it up again, is there a way around it so my timestamps stay a colour all the time ?

in your remotes put:
on *:start: .timestamp -f <your timestamp format here>

thanks, but now how do i get the text after my timestamp to appear as the colour as it should, ive got ;

on *:start:{ .timestamp -f 4[h:nn] }

now what needs to go after the final ']' so everything dosnt come out red, i tryed 1 but then everything is black (obviously)

Remember to close mIRC fully and restart it, then the red timestamp should work. As for the colour of the nick and text, just add a colour code after the right bracket in the timestamp. This changes the colour to whatever the default is for the event.
Code:
on *:start:{ .timestamp -f 4[h:nn] }
