Is there any way to determine the cause of a DCC GET failure - specifically to distinguish between a communications error and the user having clicked Cancel in the DCC window?
No, the on GETFAIL event only tells you if the transfer failed. There is no way to determine if a connection failed specifically because a user clicked the cancel button.
Khaled - thanks for responding.
1. I note that GETFAIL is not called if you click either Cancel or Ignore on the Accept/Ignore/Cancel pop-up. Do you think it should be?
2. Any chance of a property that gives an extended status of a Get / Send i.e. approving (see above), connecting, transferring, complete, cancelled, failed?
