mIRC Homepage
basically i am looking for someone that can help me set up a bot that can give viewers in twitch chat tokens/coins id like the coins to be called DocDollas as they are in the channel for X ammount of time. also mods can change currency of set persons or take away. and that people can check there balance with a key word suck as !balance or !tokens. any help on this would be much appreciated. i use mirc.
I am working on this exact script.

I currently have most of it complete:
You earn X tokens every X minutes (default 1 every 10 minutes)
You can check your tokens - !tokens
You can start a raffle - !raffle start
You can add tickets to the raffle - !ticket [number] only when raffle is open
You can end a raffle - !raffle end
You can modify tokens - !tokens modify (- or +)[number] [user]
You can check a specific users tokens - !tokens check [user]

To be completed:
Raffle handling... it works for 1 winner but I would like to make it able to draw a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. places with a !raffle end [number of winners] command.

If you have a popular twitch channel I would love to run an extended test on my script in your channel. Get back to me if you would.

mosty streams on fri-sunday but would love a bot in there full time
Hey just letting you know I had not forgotten about you. I'm busy with real life things but I will have some time to work on the bot and finish it up hopefully in the next week. I'll see if I can catch your stream once I am finished writing it.
i also am looking for a bot of this caliber! my stream juk3 twitch - i stream daily in the evenings
The bot is currently deployed for an extended test. Once all the bugs/kinks have been hammered out I'll be contacting the rest of you.
I currently have a bot that I've made. It's a raffle system. If you want to check it out, contact Dragneel_ on twitch.
It is quite imperfect though... will wait for razezar too
Hi razezar,

I'm also interested with this script.

This is my twitch channel.

Do let me know if you have any updates. Thanks!
Alright, so I've completed the bot. And what it does is...
Assigns currency to a user for the time they're on the channel.
Raffle system using the currency.
I am currently looking for a bot of this caliber and function.
I stream on twitch.tv/facepalm1785.
I am not like super popular; But I get up to 20-25 viewers at peak hours.

I am willing to participate in the test;
And if you play diablo III; I'm even willing to pay for it with IGG. (idk, like 500mil?)
Hey there

I have been tasked by someone to have a look for some form of token system, that can be tailored to our needs, then i came across your post and was wondering if you could possibly message me back on either twitch.tv (Shane11997) or in these forums, the stream hits 200-500 every day but i'd like to test it in my channel first, to make sure it works and does not disrupt the stream chat.

Thanks
-Shane
Hey, I started streaming last week and have been doing lots of giveaways. I have lots of people that just stay for the set giveaways and I would like to reward the people that actually watch my stream. I get around 40 people watching at a time during peaking hours. I would love to get this bot for my stream. twitch.tv/willkill3577 I would really appreciate, been searching for hours and i'm not very techno smart when it comes to programming. Thank You!
Update: I've had the bot running in a stream for 2 weeks. Besides working out the initial bugs and when twitch's api goes down (grr, twitch can be really annoying) it's been running flawlessly.

I'm more than happy to host the token bot for anyone that wants it free of charge, but the problem is that it is being hosted on my own computer. Running a gaming rig 24/7 as a server for this uses a lot of power and throws off a ton of heat... it isn't very practical. Getting the appropriate hosting looks like it will run $35+ a month which I'm really not willing or wanting to do.

Does anyone have one of these or something similar sitting around lol?

I think I have found a way of hosting that is way way cheaper. I'll order the hardware and see how it goes.
Hey there, awesome work! I was talking to you earlier in pm about this, and would love to get this working in my channel. I've need a bot like this so I could transition to full time streaming.

Here's a link to my channel, and I'm in IRC pretty much all the time so I'll see your message if you pop in.

I am in DIRE need of a bot like this. Please PM me, and I am willing to pay for someone to provide this bot, and help me set it up on my twitch channel. Please PM me if you can help.
Please be patient guys smile Once my hardware gets here I'll get it all assembled and ready to go. Assuming everything goes smoothly, I'll begin to contact people to get their bots set up. Should be a week or two max.

update: Alright guys. My parts arrived Saturday (much earlier than expected) and I got my new machine up and running. I've successfully migrated the current 2 bots I have running onto it and it looks like they've been running flawlessly since.

A lot of people have mentioned that they would be interested in donating/helping pay for the hardware I have bought. Again, the bot is free, and as long as my new server can handle it, I will host as many twitch bots as possible. However, for the people that were serious about donating, they will be given priority. Interested donators, please drop me a PM and I can get your bot setup as soon as I can.
Got a lot of bots set up. Anyone else looking for one please send me a private message here and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
I'm always looking to add new features to set my bot apart from the 'other' bots. My users are free to request/suggest features and I will add them. I also am always updating and adding them on my own.

Here's an example of a new feature I thought of and have added for each of the streamers. It will display (up to) the top 50 users in your channel: http://www.twitch.3owl.com/example.php
Well it didn't take you guys long to break that link. Looks like my webhost and database server aren't playing nicely with each other. I'd love to host my own webserver/database but my the system resources on my server are all being consumed by the multiple instances of the twitch bot. I will have to disable that feature until my hosting fixes it or I start to host my own database.
Wow 3000 thread views!
I pm'd you about this raz!:)
Have a few bot slots open and I'm looking to fill them. Please drop me a message or post here if you're looking to bring your twitch.tv stream to the next level.
... and there's 4000! laugh
Pm sent.
About a week later there's 5000! Wow.
Most of them are probably you, stop bumping the topic
Ok so you are willing to host me my bot but can you help me host it myself? I dont want to risk losing all the information about tokens and stuff if you lose your host or something.

Hi, thanks for the questions.

There isn't one single host for the bot but there are 3 that work together. The only portion of the bot I host is the actual code on my mini server machine which I am not sharing.

Here's the hosting scheme I have:
1. I host the bot.
2. I pay for database hosting.
3. I pay for web hosting.

I have chosen to pay for hosting rather than hosting it all myself mainly for that reason - my host automatically backs up my data frequently. Furthermore, I do manually backup the databases. Even if there were not any back ups, I would have full confidence in my hosts that they will not lose any of my data. In the case of losing the hosting (for some reason like I missed a payment) there is a grace period where I can still retrieve any/all of my data. I promise you that it is much much much safer in the capable hands of my paid hosting's server cluster then some random-guy-on-the-internet's 'hosting' it on his home/gaming computer. Trust me.

In the future, when I can do it properly, I would like to do all the hosting myself so I can get away from these monthly hosting fees.
So there is no way of me hosting the bot myself? I have a small site and i think i can host it myself and stop it tweak it etc. I found this but i have no idea what do do with it since i have never hosted a bot.

https://github.com/SupremoRTD/LoyaltyBot/blob/master/README.md
Not sure what that is but in the 'Issues' it looks like people are saying it doesn't work... then I got a popup from my anti-virus saying the website may not be safe and closed it out. I would be careful.

Guys, I'd appreciate it if you would stop messaging me linking me your broken code and asking me to fix it OR asking for my code. It gets old and it's not going to happen.
Github is a reputable host but the script he linked is javascript based and has nothing to do with mirc.

Since you aren't sharing your script and the fact that it's written in mirc script is completely hidden from the end user, I'd say this isn't an appropriate forum to be advertising your service.

I didn't ever think that this would become what it has and yes, you are correct. If anyone has any further questions regarding the hosting a bot/script please private message me.

Other than that, let's get this topic on track. I, along with others, can help with logic/proof-reading code and pointing out mistakes and giving advice. I can try to be as helpful as possible but please don't ask me to write blocks of code for you.

Otherwise, I agree this topic has gotten a bit off-topic. If it continues that way I think we can just let this post ride off into the sunset (may require a locked thread).
Looking to set up a few more bots and also do some coding. Please let me know how I can help smile
Razer I'm some one that plans on streaming on twitch and I to want to have a bot but i would like it if it required a small donation for them to enter the raffle. PlZ HELP!
Sent you a PM Slowyoda.
Lot of people are PMing me regarding my bot. Yes I am still running it and will forever. I have added in a bunch of functionality since the original release. Please contact me if you need any help or want a bot for your twitch channel.
Happy Holidays smile
