Being i idle on an IRCX server, i add access when given the owner mode /access # add owner $address($me,4) etc etc
Is there possibility i could add 1 number from each of my ip strings?

IE: if my ip was 12.345.67.89

I can //access # add owner vexed!*@1?.34?.6?.8.?

Thanks.

you might be able to, but I would not recommend it. The more you wildcard the more chances somebody else will get matched who you dont want. That's jsut my $.02 usd

If you have a dynamic IP address, and the last 2 digit locations change, you could just use vexed!*@12.345.*.* But yeah the more wild the more random chance someone else could match.

Well that's why i add my nickname at the front of the mask, because this IRCX is modified to allow a nickserv, no one can use my nickname at all.

oh, why not just do it by nickname then? Nickserv is enforced right? so /chanserv access # add nickname level

It's not down to the access itself, i just wanted it to be unique. (Refer to original post) So if it could be done, i'd like to add my access like that.

Nickserv isn't like that on this IRCX, it's just for registering nicknames.
All the other properties of IRCX are still in existance.
