Hi.

I have tried many, many scripts for announcing the song I am playing in Winamp in mIRC, and they have all been either too complicated for me, or it hasnt been working, I have been given an error, etc.

So I wondered if anyone in here either has written a script or know of one that can simply say "Eirik is listening to Metallica - Hero of the Day" from 1996's "Load" when I write "/winamp".

Thats all I need, and I havent been able to find that yet.

I hope this works for you and remember to check back here because someone will post a code for your needs but this is the easiest way for someone that doesn't know coding for mIRC.

downlaod and install AMIP (try google)

then add an aliases (Alt+R -> Aliases) like:
F12 /describe $active $dde(mPlug,format,"is_listening_&b~%name~&b_[%min:%sec~m/%br~Kbps/%sr~KHz]")


Now try push F12 ^^
