Stupid Question. When I use a "/" command in IRC (in this case one built into a script) is there a way to supress IRC's tendency to repeat the command back to me?

For example, my script says:

/bobp //msg chanserv npca #[ROOM] Bob $$1-

"npca" is a command that tells the system to repeat back the action as if Bob were doing it.

So I type:

/bobp rolls his bedroll and says "let's mount up."

IRC does this:

-> *chanserv* npca #[ROOM] bob rolls his bedroll and says "let's mount up."
* *Bob* rolls his bedroll and says "let's mount up."

I want to supress the response from Chanserv. It screws with the logs.

It seems like I'm missing something really simply, but I'm stuck. Help!

silence the command with a .
