Hi, I have problem with DCX.dll
I use Windows 2000 SP4, Pentium II 350MHz and 200MB Ram, but this dll don't work on my OS.
I don't know why, but this appened only with this dll.

Pretty much the exact same specs with the exact same problem. Already reported this on ms.org though. The problems already known.

This was the problem:

But the dll is still here. This appened only with this dll and my computer. I have tested DCX on Win XP and Pentium IV 1.6 GHz and it work.
Are this problem solveble with future version of this dll?

The DCX manual clearly states that it does not yet fully support Windows 2000. It also mentions there are plans to add support in the future. Many of the features may be prefixed with a +XP, signifying the control is only compatible with Windows XP operating systems.

Try getting the dll from the official site. I also had problems with the dll I got from mircscripts.org. The one on the site is a less compressed version.

If someone has time, before I launch the next version, I'd like to have someone that can't open the DLL on Windows 2000 test with me for different compile options.

I suspect one of them used causes this problem, but the problem is also observed on XP, so I'm not sure if it's OS related or something is missing on some OS versions (missing DLL file needed, etc.)

Please note that IE Version 6.0 is required for some things to work even if you don't use it on your system (that should not be a problem for the win XP users.)

Anyways, drop me a pmsg or email if you are interested in testing the dev version to see if you can open it until we find the "problem".

ClickHere, I have download your DLL from the Official Website (dcx.scriptsdb.org) and I have Windows 2000 SP4 (Language Italian) with all service pack from Microsoft Installed.
No problem with my PC and other dll, only your dll has this problem.
I have used only basic command of your dll, and the problem is always the same. My mIRC tells me that this isn't a dll in that path, but the dll is STILL HERE!!!
If you want, I can test your dll in my OS and report other problems to you.

I'll submit and new version this month and you can come on IRC with me to try different builds until we find the problem.

This has been fixed already in the newest version!
