I'm trying to find a way to control shoutcast DIRECT from mIRC using the inbuilt mp3 player. Is there such a way? and if so, how???
This is driving me nuts cuz i am looking at this for a script i need to write and tbh.. i know its got to be possible but i just can't see the wood for the trees..
so.. HELP!!!!

I'm sorry to say that I don't think this is possible. The inbuilt mp3 player (I think you mean /splay) requires the sound files to actually be on your computer, rather than being broadcast (which is what shoutcast does).

There are shoutcast scripts out there, but you'll have to do some searching to find one that you like.

Its not in mIRC, go read your shoucast info again.

no.. i don't think i phrased it right.. well, it was 5am my time...
what i'm after doing is direct control of the shoutcast DSP.. the winamp plugin.. but using the /splay functions within mirc being the audio device.. Is there any way to do this?
