This code is from the away script I'm writing for a few friends and myself. This is just the config part, where the "client" can change a few very basic settings about how it works, etc. I have some friends who want to use this that know essentially nothing about mIRC scripting, but I want them to understand how to change settings (aka, what to edit in my config section without removing something important). Hopefully what I'm asking makes sense, and here is what I have at the moment.

Code:
; _____________________________________________________
; ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
; Configuation - Edit the settings below to your liking
; _____________________________________________________
; ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
; Change nick on away? (0 = no, 1 = yes)
; Edit the digit after 'return'

alias away.chgnick { return 0 }

; Edit the line below to modify what default away message is used if none is supplied
; Edit the text after 'return'

alias away.defaway { return I am currently away from my computer }

; Edit the line below to modify what default nick suffix is used if none is supplied
; Edit the text after 'return'

alias away.defnick { return away }

Wouldn't it be easier to create dialogs for the settings?
