You COULD simply right click the status window tab and select logging .. on (many things can easily be done this way .. Khaled was reasonably thorough with right click menus)

I won't tell you how long I spent trying to script things only to find this was available ... but I will tell you there's lots of things to be learned by clicking on things (both left and right clicks) and just looking. (in the about window, for example)

You don't know how right you are. A mate of mine couldn't accept a file from MSN, it was a google script he needed help with. So I sent them a file on mIRC and to their amazement they replied with "I didn't know you could send files on mIRC".
So, reading the help file or coming on here frequently enables you to learn much more and wodnerful things.
