i saw the snippet in the forums a while ago, but can't seem to locate it.

Friend has a probelm with mIRC using IE instead of the default (should be firefox) and im wondering if anyone has this script or could point me to where it is, as i did some searching but didn't find it.

Doing a quick search for all forums and all date ranges using the words Firefox and default, I came up with a thread that pointed me HERE

Almost every person I hear report that mIRC isn't using their default browser is using mIRC 6.03. This version of mIRC has a bug that always uses IE regardless of the default Windows browser. Make sure they have the latest version of mIRC before wasting their time (and yours) on scripts.

ahh.. forgot to addjust the date of the search, and yah. the person is using 6.03 (says its much simpler then the newer versions..?)
