I thought i posted this .... lets try again
I want to be able to see the user modes (@/+) in the chat window next to the appropriate users, but i have no idea where to start.

1. Tools => Options => IRC => Check the box "show mode prefix"

2. Make a script:
/help on text
/help $prefix
/help $pnick

Also the $nick() remote identifer can help in that matter

You have got to be kidding me ...... I have been looking for that for 2 days now....... I guess i just couldnt accept that it would be so obvious.
