does anyone know a way of making a send keys alias to like have a dialog with a button it that can do alt + r or other key combinations, without a dll?

Strange, i tried that one, and 3 others, on a blank mIRC and all of them shut mIRC down

/sendkey

with qwerty's snippet, /sendkey % $+ r
even just /sendkey closes mIRC, without any parameters

Well i'm on XP, SP2 + mIRC v6.16 and it works fine.
Also, since the script uses Windows built in WScript.Shell its not an error with the coding, run a virus scan see what that brings up.

Ran a scan, found and deleted 2 things which were both moo.dll
(motherboard monitor) lol
and still no joy, oh well, perhaps it was never meant to be

moo.dll used to show up in my scans as well and they dont anymore....i'm on XP mirc6.16 works fine
