I was looking up a command that I know for a fact exists(I use it in my script) and it didn't exist in the mIRC helpfile. I then asked several others(all using mRC 6.14) if it was there and it was not. The command is $dir. I see it nowhere in the helpfile however. Any ideas why it's missing?

There are a number of things in the help file, hopefully they will be fixed in the future smile - See this thread.

Because it has been deprecated since v5.81.
Code:
Versions.txt: 09/11/2000 - mIRC v5.81

12.Added $sdir(dir,title) and $sfile(dir,title,oktext), title and
   oktext are optional.

The $sdir, $file, $hfile, and $dir identifiers are still supported
but are no longer documented in the help file.

Sheesh, I shouldn't post at 4.16am should I?

Firstly, in my first reply I should have said "There are a number of things missing in the help file". Now corrected wink

Secondly, thanks Iori I never knew that. *assimilates knowledge*
