is there a possibility to store/echo winsock error numbers and/or eror messages? its possible for mirc sockets.. what about normal server connections?

hmm i found somewhat .. on connectfail.. yet that doesnt echo the numerics and the data (/server irc.server.com -j #room pass) isnt saved anywhere.

so i guess i'll have to store it in a hashtable and call it on connectfail or does anyone have a better idea?
