whenever i try to connect to the server 216.152.65.156, it says that my connection has timed out, so can u guys help me out here?

Looks like it's down.

Looks like it is down, however while testing that I noticed that this server appears to be part of the webchat.org network. So you can connect to irc.webchat.org and (I think) that should get you to where you want to be.

216.152.65.156 is the mediadriven irc server which seems to be down.

Well then it appears that server is no more seeing as how it was hosted at the exact same place as irc.webchat.org, so if that still works, and the other doesn't, it would seem they got rid of the server.

You can find out the hostname for each server by visiting the network's website.

Try glass.webchat.org or arena.webchat.org - They are two that I know work.

Also, when you finally make it in, just do a /links to find out the names of the other servers. I am sure all Webchat servers are located in the same place anyway so geographically connecting to one is the same as connecting to another.

/list will list channels of a network

/links lists the servers of a network

And yes, I know you really do know the command and it was just an honest mistake - Just thought I'd correct it!
