I lost my desk top computer to a virus and now I have another computer I have installed mIRC on. My last computer I was able
to get mp3 and karaoke files. I can't even connect to the version I downloaded. I am totally confused. Beginner computer user. Don't know what scripts are or all that other stuff you guys and gals talk about on this site. Need some "baby step" help.

what version of mirc did you download, and from where, and what version of windows are you running..

This will give ua a starting point for helping you..
As for scripts, there are lots of sites for mirc scripts, but lets first get you online..

Virus protection that block your connection? Or a firewall? Can you download mirc from this page ?
