I'm not sure whether the services are down, but I usually use SwiftIRC sever and I haven't been able to connect to it for a few hours now. Every time i try to connect, it says:

[11:04:37] * Connect retry #1 irc.swiftirc.net (6667)
-
[11:04:42] * Unable to resolve server

I would appreciate some help

Hi Jessie, not sure what the problem is at swift, however I found 1 server I can connect with it is hades.de.eu.SwiftIRC.net if this doesnt work then use the IP 78.159.100.189
If I was to guess I would say the main server/hub is down and possibly taken the round robin or dns server with it.
Anyhow that should get you connected at least.

Sounds more like a DNS issue than anything else.
