i have recently changed my internet supplier and they have supplied me with a net gear router instead of the old modem that i had and since then i am unable to connect can anyone help please

Since your ISP has supplied you with the router (and probably a built-in modem), the proper place for technical assistance is your ISP.

However, if they can't or won't provide you with assistance in this matter, then I suggest you take a look at PortForward.com
