the last 2 nights I have been "unable to connect to server(connection refused)"..I have been using it for some time before . I do not understand what happened or why and would like some help.

That means you made it to the host (the machine on which the server runs) but the host is refusing your connection attempt. The server is probably down (not running), or someone may have forgotten to pay their bill or they may have decided to not run a server anymore, who knows. Try a different server on the network, that's why it's a network of servers instead of just one server. Also, see this sticky thread for more information.
