Getting SSL to work.... - 11/02/06 09:00 AM
So I finally managed to get SSL loaded on to the latest version of Mirc, but now I guess I need to find the certificates. Under the SSL options there are three I can choose from:
1) Private Key Files
2) Certificate Key Files
3) Trusted Authorities Files
So after installing Win32 OpenSSL and browsing the directory I found a bunch of the .pem files that the above options were looking for, and some are named nicely and can be associated with the first two options...but I have no idea on the 3rd (nothing in the OpenSSL folder has anything to do with Trusted Authorities) and when I try connecting via SSL, I get an error saying "SSL error: unable to load trusted authorities." I tried using all of the available .pem files for the "trusted authorities files" option, but I got the error on each one. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help!
