I'm getting the error in the subject of thie string from time to time. Won't let me connect for a day or so, and I get the error (Can't assign requested address)

What's this mean and how do I fix it?

Many ppl have the same problem, at the moment tiscali.dal.net works fine for me

Perhaps ppl don't see it down there (I didn't :>)

tiscali.* and mesra.*are the only servers you can get on from edwards list others are or hubs or not allowing to ppls to connect or with a changed dns remeber to try other ports than 6667

Realize that the server list mentioned can change from minute to minute. If you are unaware of the probs DALnet is having, read http://zine.dal.net/previousissues/issue19/letter-from-the-editor.php

With fewer servers and the above mentioned problem, weekends are VERY difficult to get onto a DALnet server. All you can do is be patient, keep trying different servers and server ports. DALnet is doing all it can to resolve this issue, but being the kiddies network du jour to attack makes it hard on all of us.
