Hi there, it's my first post.
I'd like to know how to solve this problem: I can't connect to dalnet, it always give this message:

"ERRO: ERROR Closing Link: 0.0.0.0 ([AKILL ID:1039081090K-e] [exp/identd] IRC clients from your domain are required to respond to identd requests in order to connect to DALnet. Send email to exploits@dal.net with [exp/ident] as the subject, or visit http://kline.dal.net/exploits/ident.h (2004/10/05 13.53))"

I've sent an email and I didn't understand it, can you guys explain me how to connect to dalnet? I'm using winxp (but sometime ago I was using it and I had no problems).

This just means you need to enable identd. If you have a look, there is a sticky thread at the top of this forum entitled 'enable identd' - you may wish to read it for lots and lots of info on how to enable it. You may have configure your firewall or router (if you have one).

The URL in the AKill message has a typo, presumably because of a limit of the length of the message, however, the actual URL to DALnet's Ident FAQ is http://kline.dal.net/exploits/ident.htm - it's a good idea to read over it.
