I've been using mIRC for over a year, but the past 2 days I get a Connection Refused error. I've tried different ports and different servers to no avail. I've even pinged server 208.40.148.152 using the default port 6667 , port 7000 and port 8080.

Please help. I'm going thru IRC withdrawal


EDIT:never mind...problem was resolved by a wonderful helper at the #help channel.
